That’s what I love about this city:
We started the day at Trafalgar Square to see how the Chinese celebrate the arrival of the New Year of the Rabbit, wishing each other “Kung Hei Fat Choi”. There we missed the dragon and found the crowds.
So we escaped for some silence to Neal’s Yard, a Secret Garden close to Covent Garden. It is one of those places that, if you didn’t know it was there, you might as well pass by it loads of times and simply never come across it.
Later we checked out the newest US fashion at Urban Outfitters, where I found the cutest necklaces ever,
as well as the newest comic stuff from Japan at Forbidden Planet.
And after walking the streets of Soho and Marylebone…
…we ended the Sunday with great Mexican street food at my new very favourite place: Wahacca.
I love the atmosphere there – it is usually buzzing and you always have to queue for a table. But it’s well worth the wait! The Quesadillas from their street food menu is addictive and the prices unbeatable for London.
