Here in the UK I always find it a bit harder to get into the Christmas mood. It’s too warm, and the Christmas decorations in London go up at the end of October, so when Advent really starts you almost can’t see it any more…

On Friday I received a lovely surprise package from my Family with Dresdner Christmas Stollen, Gingerbread and a Herrnhuter Stern (Moravian Star)…and by the time I finished the 3D puzzle, and the star was hanging in our lounge, the Christmas feeling was back! 

So yesterday we went to see some of the amazing Christmas trees around London…some with millions of needles, others with 600,000 LEGO bricks and thousands of baubles…. See for yourself. Maybe you’ll join me in getting some of that proper advent spirit.
